The Criminal Records Section houses all criminal and traffic reports that are prepared by the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office. Criminal Records is a part of the Criminal Investigation Division. Copies of Initial Criminal Reports as well as Traffic Reports are available by request for a charge of $3.00 each. Requests can be submitted in writing or in person. We also provide fingerprinting and local criminal background checks for job applicants and employers.
