BODY FOUND Detective Buddy Willis of the Rapides Sheriff’s Office needs your help in solving this crime. On 08-17-2004, while working on fences alongside the Old Boyce Road, workers observed the body of a black female laying in the ditch. She was identified as: Shamekka Garnette Black/Female DOB: 8-19-1983 3108 4th St. Alexandria, La. She was last seen leaving home on Friday night (08-13-2004) at approximately 11:30 p.m. in a friend’s vehicle.
