Crime Stoppers

Crime Stoppers is a community involvement program to help stop crime in its tracks. Crime Stoppers' reason for existing is to gather the clues that law enforcement agencies need to solve major crimes, by offering cash rewards and providing a single number to call with information relating to any crime or criminal activity. Crime Stoppers has a secure online reporting system through a web site called TipSoft. This is a secure web site where all tips submitted are encrypted and anonymous. Your online tip will be assigned a number just like calling the Tip line.

Crime Stoppers has taken a special interest in several different areas to help local law enforcement in solving crimes. Our Current Crimes page has a recent crime on which we are putting special emphasis. The Cold Cases page lists cases that are older but remain unsolved.  We hope that by putting this information out to the public you can aid in the solving of these cases and help make our communities safer.

Crime Stoppers of CENLA has joined forces with Centennial Wireless and ALLTEL so their customers can dial "*11" on their cellular phones and make Crime Stoppers reports for free.
